Just getting over the last bit of jetlag. I hope to spend a couple of months at home and enjoy my new condo (which I was barely able to do since moving in since I've been abroad). I have asked for another overseas assignment but in the meantime I will be working out of the head office in Toronto.
When I was in US in 1989 we went for a day to Toronto - as my Grandmother was born there in 1892! We found the street (Phoebe Street) but she had lived in a bugelow - that apparently had been knocked down some years before to build a school. It was great to see some of the houses, as they were of a similar age. They were leather workers ... and left in 1900. (One of her sisters died as a child and is buried there)
