After an intensive push I've finally done it (well, overdone it would be more like it).

My final NaNoWriMo count = 57,399

You actually get a completion icon for finishing the challenge so here it is...

In other story-wise, I'm currently putting the polish to chapter 20 of the Wants and Needs story, so I will probably post chapter 18 sometime today.

I did it one year. Considering that we'd had a hurricane that knocked out our power for 2 weeks, and internet for nearly a month, I was astonished I managed it. It got done in a REAL rush.

And it actually had a plot! Well, sort of. A witch detective with her flying cat familiar and her demon partner follow a murder mystery in which a queen bee is the victim which leads them to Earth and a couple of lesbian bikers who buy them pizza until they find the plot behind the plot. (There's a lot of other equally insane stuff along the way.)

About 90% of it is rubbish, but if I ever get the time to rework it, I would like to submit it to a publisher and maybe get a genuine refusal slip.

I've been doing picowrimo which is only 5,000 in the month, and I completed that yesterday. I haven't finished the story, a B7/ST:TNG crossover, quite yet but should pretty soon.
