I was in a minearl springs spa during the winter and they had the hot mineral water piped into a large pool, part of which was outdoors. It's surprisingly relaxing being in a nice hot swimming pool, in your bathing suit while being surrounded by ice and snow.
Well, back in 1972 there was a snowfall that lasted long enough not to melt the instant it hit windshields. One of my brothers ran out with a baggie and a chilled spoon and collected almost enough to make a tiny snowball.
