Dell Adventure ends...finally

Well, they finally came and fixed my laptop.  It only took 3 1/2 days but, who's counting?

But now for some reason, I can no longer access gmail. Argh!!!

I wish I could get as far as the password screen but it looks like the URL has been blocked for some reason.

That's not company policy, is it? Some places do that sort of thing and I think it's counter-productive as it shows distrust of employees and causes resentment. I'd ask the Dell guy first, then your employers.

hmm that could be. I could get into gmail before the laptop went down. And now that it's fixed, I can still access hotmail. I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Hmmm... is there a parental block thingie on the computer? Maybe the ham-fisted tech set it up not to get Gmail.

Mum's lap-top went away last Mon, came back on Wed ... and the guy who brought it back then spent 3 hours working on it ... It was overall an hours work!!

Hope you get you mail again soon ... glad the pc is back anyway ... the icon is for the 3 1/2 days!

It's not back yet? It's working fine for me. Sometime it plays up but comes back in an hour or so.
