One other thing I couldn't tie in, because none of the crew were present when it was said, was what Dr. Bellfriar remarked about most of the people on Q-Base, which seems to be a technical/scientific place of some sort. Bellfriar viewed most of the people there as being psychotic, which is an odd thing to say. You'd think that a few people might be like that. But most of them?
