Thanks. That was a very interesting study of the flight deck configuration. quarryquest also appears to think that the forcewall was put in "a very silly spot." I mean, why put the all-important force wall controls away from the rest of the controls of the ship? I understand that it could be to keep things fluid and provide action in flight deck sequences that otherwise would be static in terms of filming. But really. Do they have to have Avon fall over or nearly fall over every time the ship is hit?
