Awww, poor Vila! He misses being loved because it's happened so seldom. Avon might care--and say he does--but Vila's still doesn't have anyone like most of the others have (and Sester would like to have). I also think that Vila resents Avon as being part of the reason he felt he had to stay on board.
Still, he'd be left out on Kaarn too, for not being Auron and telepathic.
