You're only allowed one checked-in luggage even for international? Ugh. As it was, I had to pare down alot and left most of my summer clothes at home (which was a mistake) and decided to buy more when I got to Hong Kong. Luckily, the hotel in HK had a self-laundry service as well. I had to be very stingy on souvenir shopping so that I wouldn't go over the weight limit. They let you go over by a kilo or so but not much more.
